Amanda Seyfried on her rack: They do get in the way a lot & smack my chin

Amanda Seyfried covers the May issue of Allure to promote The Big Wedding (I think). She doesn’t really talk about that movie in the interview excerpts that have been released thus far, but she does talk about playing Linda Lovelace in (naturally) Lovelace, but that movie isn’t getting a wide release anytime soon, if ever. It premiered at Sundance in January and was immediately forgotten. Oh well.

This would have been a convenient seque for Amanda to go nude in this issue of Allure, which is the “Look Better Naked” issue that will feature mostly nude spreads. You can see several of the editorial spreads (including Jennifer Morrison and Clare Bowen) here, and sure enough, they’re totally naked. Sadly, Amanda told Page Six that her publicist wouldn’t let her take off her clothes for this issue even though she was perfectly willing to do so. Strange, right? Amanda has appeared nude in Chloe, Alpha Dog, and (probably) as Linda Lovelace. In that regard, this is quite the ironic magazine cover for Amanda, but at least she talks about her boobs. A lot.

On her shrinking boobs: “I saw a picture of them a couple of days ago from when I was 19, and my boobs were way bigger. They were a D, and now they’re a small C, because I lost weight. There was something so beautiful about the size of them. When I look back, I’m like, ‘Why did I always give myself such a hard time?’ Nobody gave me sh-t about it except me.'”

her boobs still get in the way: “They do get in the way a lot,” the Les Miserables actress says. “Like, I wear a really small, tight sports bra when I go running . . . because they want to smack my chin.”

On Linda Lovelace: “Maybe this is backwards, but because she found the power in herself and in her body at a point, it made me feel comfortable in my own skin in a way that I hadn’t been. I’ve got parts of me that I wish were tighter, but I don’t kill myself, because it’s not worth it.”

On having an “extraterrestrial” face: “I like that. I’d rather not be ordinary-looking. I want something different about me. We all want to be originals.”

I kind of remember when Amanda had bigger girls, but I guess she lost them when she went on the obligatory Hollywood starlet diet. She must still be eating pretty well though to keep such a glossy and lush mane of hair. I have serious Seyfried hair envy. Her eyes are so gorgeous too, but I really want that hair.

So far, there’s only one other photo that Allure has released, which shows Amanda in a push-up bra. She’s going to seem so out of place wearing clothes in this issue — they really should have switched out covers with last month’s Katie Holmes topless cover.
